Angeles - Table Mountain
Located just a few miles outside of the Los Angeles metro area,
the Angeles National Forest is the desert playground of the city. Vegetation ranges from
chaparral and oak
at lower elevations to pine at higher altitudes. Campers come here to explore hundreds of miles of trails
on foot, horseback, or ATVs. They also come to swim, boat, and fish in the scattered lakes.
