Wasatch-Cache - Ogden
Summer or winter, if you're looking for a beautiful place to get
away from the city and play in Utah, the Wasatch-Cache National Forest is it. Comprised of beautiful canyons,
soaring peaks, pristine hidden lakes, rivers and streams, the views will take your breath away. The Wasatch-Cache
is also home to some of the world's premier ski areas. Fishermen enjoy the trout stocked rivers and
streams. Campers come here from across the country to hike, mountain bike, ride horses, boat, swim, ski,
sled, and enjoy the natural beauty of these rugged mountains. |

American Land & Leisure currently runs 10 different
campgrounds in the Ogden Area.
Ogden's area managers live and work with 6 other couples at Anderson Cove Campground. Located 10
miles east of Ogden at an elevation of 5000 feet, this beautiful campgound, set on the Pineview Reservoir,
has 58 single sites. The facility also has a boat launch, small store, volleyball court, 9 double sites,
1 quadruple site and 2 large group sites that will hold up to 100 people. Campers come here to picnic,
fish, swim, boat, water-ski, and generally relax and play. Full hookups are available to hosts. Hours
are either 40 or 50 hours per week per couple during the regular season, depending on assigned duties.
Peak hours are either 40, 50, or 60 hours per week, depending on assigned duties. The campground is open
from the middle of May to the end of September.

Jefferson Hunt Campground is located about 8 miles east of Ogden at an elevation of 5000 feet.
Set in a cottonwood glade on the South Fork of the Ogden River and Pineview Reservoir, this campground
has 29 sites. Campers come here to fish for record breaking tiger musky in the reservoir, swim, boat,
water-ski, and hike the local trails. Full hookups are available to hosts. Hours are 55 hours per week
per couple. The campground is open from the end of May to the end of September. |

Magpie Campground is located about 6 miles from
Huntsville at an elevation of 5200 feet. Set among cottonwoods and willows on the banks of the South Fork
of the Ogden River, this campground has 17 sites. Campers come here to fish for trout and hike. The host
for this campground also cares for Botts Campground, 1/2 mile away. This small campground is located
along a bend in the river among tall old trees, and has 8 single sites. Water and sewer hookups are
available to the hosts. Hours are 33 hours per week per couple. The campground is open from the middle
of May to the end of September.
Monte Cristo Campground is located about 28 miles from Huntsville at an elevation of 9000 feet.
Set in a spruce forest near Sugar Pine Creek, this campground has 47 sites, 2 group sites, and an
amphitheater. Campers come here to camp, hike, and picnic. Water and sewer hookups are available. Hours
are 50 hours per week per couple. The campground is open from late June to early September.

Southfork Campground is located 7 miles east of Huntsville at an elevation of 5200 feet. Set
among cottonwood and willow on the banks of the South Fork of the Ogden River, this campground has 33 single
and 11 double campsites. Campers come here to fish and hike. Full hookups are available to the camp hosts.
Hours are 50 hours per week per couple. The campground is open from the beginning of May to the end of
September. |

Upper Meadows Campground is located about 8 miles
east of Huntsville at an elevation of 5200 feet. Set among cottonwood and willow on the banks of the
South Fork of the Ogden River, this campground has 9 single sites. The hosts for this area also care for
Lower Meadows Campground. Lower Meadows has 17 campsites. Campers come to both places to fish
in the river and hike. Water and sewer hookups are available to the host. Hours are 25 hours per week per
couple during the regular season and 30 hours per week per couple during the peak season. This campground
is open from the beginning of May to the end of September.

Willows Campground is located 8 miles from Huntsville at
an altitude of 5200 feet. Set among cottonwood and willow on the banks of the South Fork of the Ogden River,
this campground has 13 sites. Campers come here to fish and hike. Water and sewer hookups are available
to hosts. Hours are 35 hours per week per couple. This campground is open from the beginning of May to the
end of September. |

Perception Campground is located about 7 1/2 miles
from Huntsville at an altitude of 5200 feet. Set among cottonwood and willow on the banks of the South
Fork of the Ogden River, this campground has 24 single sites and 3 group sites. Campers come here to hike
and fish. Full hookups are available to the hosts. Hours are 50 hours per week per couple. This campground
is open from the beginning of May to the end of September.
