Idaho Panhandle - Priest Lake
The Priest Lake area is part of the Idaho Panhandle National
Forest. Located in the east-central part of the Columbia Plateau between the Cascade and Bitteroot Mountains,
the Idaho Panhandle is one of the most spectacular scenic areas in the country. Deep blue lakes, swift raging rivers,
quiet streams and high rugged mountains invite hikers, river rafters, canoeists, and nature enthusiasts of
all kinds. |

American Land & Leisure runs six different facilities
in the Priest Lake area.
Beaver Creek Campground is located approximately 37 miles from Avery, Idaho on Priest Lake. Folks
come to this scenic wooded campground to fish, hike on the many local trails, boat, swim, and enjoy the
diverse local wildlife. The campground has 40 single sites and one group site. The couple who cares for
this facility also looks after a local beach, day use area, and trail heads. Full hookups are available.
Hours are approximately 40 hours per week per couple during the regular season and
60 hours per week per
couple during the peak season. The campground is open from May through
September. |

Reeder Bay Campground is located 39 miles north of
the town of Priest River on Priest Lake. This wooded, family oriented campground has 24 sites. Campers
come here to fish, boat, hike, swim, and enjoy the local wildlife and beautiful lake views. The hosts
at Reeder Bay also care for Ledgewood Day Use Area. Full hookups are available. Hours are 30 hours
per week per couple during the regular season, and 43 hours per week per couple during the busy season.
The campground is open from May to October. |

Upper Luby Bay Campground is located 28 miles north
of the town of Priest River on Priest Lake. Campers come up to fish, hunt, boat and swim. This thickly
wooded campground has 27 single sites. The hosts also care for Kalispell and Lower Luby day use areas,
as well as the parking lot and restroom at a local museum. Full hookups are available. Hours are
30
hours per week per couple during the regular season and 45 hours per week per couple during the peak season.
The campground is open from May to October.
The area manager for Priest Lake lives and works at Lower
Luby Bay Campground. Located 28 miles north of Priest River on Priest Lake, campers come up to Lower
Luby to fish, hunt, boat, swim, hike the beautiful shoreline trails, and enjoy the quiet family atmosphere.
The campground has 25 single sites. Full hookups are available. Hours
are 35
hours per week per couple during the regular season and 45 hours per
week per couple during the peak season. The campground is open from May through

Outlet Campground is located 27 miles from the town of
Priest River on Priest River, with beautiful views of Priest Lake. Campers come to this homey family
campground to swim at the beach, fish in the lake and river, hunt, and enjoy the local wildlife. It's an
ideal place for large families. The campground has 27 single sites. Full hookups are available.
Hours are 20 hours per week per couple during the regular season and 30 hours per week per couple during
the peak season. The campground is open from May to October. |
Osprey Campground is located 27 miles
north of the town of Priest River on Priest River and Priest Lake. This forested campground has 15 single
sites. Campers come here to swim at the beach, fish in the lake and river, and enjoy the beautiful views
and diverse local wildlife. Full hookups are available. Hours are 20 hours per week per couple during
the regular season and 25 hours per week per couple during the busy season. The campground is open from
June to September. |
