Stanislaus - Summit
Located along the Northeastern edge of Yosemite National Park,
the Stanislaus is one of the oldest national forests. Founded in 1897, this beautiful wilderness area is
home to more than 300 species of animals, has more than 800 miles of fishable rivers and streams, and offers
more hiking, mountain biking, and off road vehicle trails than you could travel in a lifetime. Whether it's
boating, swimming, hiking, snowmobiling, river rafting, fishing, or camping, the Stanislaus has it all.
