One host couple cares for River Edge Campground.  The host site has full hookups and a telephone land-line for reservations and customer service.

This is a group reservation-only campground.  The gate is kept closed when there are no reservations.  There is a lot of mowing at this campground.  A large riding lawn mower is provided.  Depending on the staffing decisions of the Area Managers, additional hours and equipment may be allocated for mowing and caring for other campgrounds; usually Canal Creek Group Site.  If travel is required to other campgrounds, either a company vehicle is provided or your mileage is reimbursed.  If Canal Creek is included in your duties, you will also be coordinating customer arrival times to let them in.  Canal Creek is a group reservation-only campground with locked gates when unoccupied.

We do not take care of the Day Use, boat slide, area in River Edge.   Travelers stopping to use the restroom tend to turn into the group site if the gate is open.  The hosts make sure they go to the Day Use Area restroom to maintain the privacy and safety of the private group in the reservation area.
