One host couple or single lives in and cares for Yellow Creek Campground. This is a very remote campground accessible by a 15 mile, well-maintained, gravel logging road.
Water and sewer hookups are available at the host site which is next to the pump house. The host operates the generator daily to pump water into the campground tank. The host may use the electricity and/or recharge their rig batteries while the generator is on. No garbage service is provided. Call to find out about satellite and cell service in the area.
The campground is about 25 minutes from Chester, California. Chester has a few good dining choices and a small grocery market. Susanville, another 30 minutes from Chester, has a Walmart, other grocery stores, dining and a casino.
