The host/couple takes care of Meadow Lake. One of the highest lakes in the Tahoe National Forest. It has 10 lakeside sites and 15 sites by the dam. White Rock Lake has 6 sites, with fire rings only, located by 4x4 road about 7 miles away. The host/couple has a company 4x4 truck. The host site is provided with a 500 gallon water tank. Water has to be transported from a spring 5 miles away. The lakes are popular with ATVers, fishermen and hunters. 

The closest conveniences are in Truckee, Ca located about 17 miles away. Truckee has fuel and several groceries stores.
