One host couple cares for Washington Lake Campground as well as a group area and two vault toilets at Crystal Lake Trailhead, one mile away. Water can be filled at the trailhead. Campground opening and closing depends on snowfall.
Washington Lake is 24 miles from Kamas and about 1 mile off the Mirror Lake Highway. This beautiful, high-elevation, lake is nestled in a pine forest high in the Uinta Mountains. You'll enjoy 360 views of the mountains from the campground on the shore of Washington Lake.
Campers come here to hike, swim, canoe and fish.
