This campground is located on the western shore of Lake Pillsbury, about 20 miles from Potter Valley.  The campground has a beautiful view and a boat launch.  Campers come here to fish, swim, boat, hike, and enjoy the scenery and wildlife.  The host site has plenty of sun for solar panels. 

Host can only have a 26' trailer or a 30' fifth wheel.

Smalley Cove Campground is a year-round facility.  All sites are first-come-first-served. There is a lot of lawn mowing and weed eating that needs to be done in this area. 

The hosts will also help care for Black Rock campground, and a number of day use areas including the Manzanita lake day use area.

The host will be very close to each other. The RV's will be within 15 feet of each other.

The Lower Mokelumne is the part of the river below Camanche Dam.  These day use areas give views and access to the reservoirs and tributaries along the Lower Mokelumne.

This position is usually filled by a person living in the area.  Hours vary throughout the year to accommodate the level of use.  The route consists of the care and cleaning for the following day use areas:

The Area Managers for the Angeles area live in and care for Mountain Oak Campground and Lake Campground. 

Mountain Oak is located 8 miles from Wrightwood near Jackson Lake.  It is shaded by oak and sugar pine. 

Lake Campground is located 5 1/2 miles from Wrightwood on Jackson Lake.  This secluded campground is scattered with oak trees for shade, and has 8 campsites. 

Campers enjoy fishing, hiking, boating and swimming from both campgrounds. 

Groceries, laundry, fuel and dining are available in the nearby Los Angeles metro area.
