Albion Basin Campground is located at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, above the town and ski resort of Alta.  A 2 mile gravel road leads from Alta to the campground past open meadows splashed with wildflowers.

One couple cares for this campground from a full hookup site.  This canyon is part of the protected watershed so there are pet restrictions here.  Hosts are not allowed to have pets living with them in Albion Basin.

Albion Basin is a physically-demanding campground, due to the elevation, and there is no golf cart provided.  Alta and Snowbird resorts have some great dining and summer entertainment choices but you'll need to travel down the canyon to the valley for groceries and laundry services.
