Elevation:   8600 feet

The maintenance person or couple will provide maintenance support for all campgrounds and day use in the area.  Probably the most important part of the maintenance person’s job description is working with the water systems.  Other duties may involve tree cutting, painting picnic tables and restrooms, landscaping such as weed trimming, mowing, and blowing.  A maintenance person could also do small engine repair and equipment maintenance.

This position will stay in the Columbine Campground. This campground is about 40 miles west of Denver.

Elevation:   9300 feet

The Area Manager and one host couple lives in and cares for Cold Springs Campground.

The Clear Creek area consists of the following campgrounds (typical # of hosts):

  • Cold Springs (1 couple) 
  • Columbine (1 couple) 
  • West Chicago Creek (1 couple) 
  • Guanella Pass (1 couple) 
  • Echo Lake (1 couple) 
  • Maintenance (1 couple)
