Uinta Wasatch Cache National Forest

Logan Ranger District

These campgrounds are located in the area between Brigham City and Bear Lake with a large concentration in the Logan Canyon.  A variety of camping experiences range from mountain-top vistas to steep, shady, canyons along a raging river.

Guinavah Campground

At about 7.5 miles up Logan Canyon, Guinavah is the largest of the Forest Service campgrounds in the area.  In addition to 36 single sites it includes 3 double sites and 3 group sites which hold up to 100 people.

Spring Hollow Campground

11 single sites and a couple group sites are available for camping and day use, in Spring Hollow, about 6.5 miles from Logan.

Bridger Campground

10 single sites are available to first-come-first-served campers in Bridger Campground just 5.5 miles east of Logan.

Box Elder Campground                                

Set in a grove of Box Elder trees along a trickle of a creek, this campground is in Mantua (MAN-uh-way), Utah, just 5 miles from Brigham City.  OHV and hiking trails and a small fishing lake are nearby.

This is a small, 7-site campground with an on-site host.

Lewis M Turner Campground

This 9-site campground is 1/2 mile from Hwy 89 on the road to Tony Grove.  All sites are first-come-first-served.

Tony Grove Campground sits on the mountainside overlooking the beautiful Tony Grove Lake.  This area is known for outstanding hiking and wildlife opportunities.

Red Banks Campground has 13 campsites located about 17 miles from Bear Lake.

Sunrise Campground                                     

About 6 miles from Bear Lake, Sunrise sites at 7800 feet above sea level near Bear Lake Summit.  16 of the 26 campsites may be reserved at least 4 days in advance.

This is a small, 6-site campground, located in the canyon above Smithfield just north of Logan, Utah.

Chokecherry Picnic Area

This beautiful little area provides 5 picnic tables in a relaxing, riverside, setting.  There is no fee for using this area.
