Located along the Oregon coast just west of Corvallis and Eugene, the Siuslaw National Forest boasts that it stretches from "from ocean shore to forest floor." There are coastal campgrounds and day use areas, sand dunes to explore, and forests that are home to majestic hemlocks and spruces. Located in western Oregon along the Cascade Mountains, the Willamette National Forest is less than two hours from Portland and one hour from either Eugene or Salem.
