Ashley National Forest

Once home to dinosaurs, the "Gorge" is now famous for its monster fish! Here, amazing view are around every corner as the rich red and gold hues of ancient geologic formations contrast with the deep greens of the river, reservoir, and vegetation.  Located in northeastern Utah, we operate a number of facilities within the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area.  Select a ranger district below to read about our campgrounds and reserve a campsite to read about our campgrounds and reserve a campsite.

Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest

Located in northern Utah, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest stretches along the Wasatch Range from Logan through Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork and as far east as Grantsville near Tooelle.  On the east side of the Wasatch Mountains, are the Uinta Mountains with facilities from Kamas to Heber City and as far west as the closest Wyoming border.  Within thirty minutes from the major cities, you can have access to the National Forest.
