Bedrock Campground near Lowell, Oregon, Fall Creek Drainage

Bedrock Campground

Willamette National Forest \ Middle Fork Ranger District

Bedrock Campground is perched on a terrace above Fall Creek.  The surrounding landscape was shaped by fire.  An impressive fireweed bloom paints the hillsides during the summer.  The cool Fall Creek drainage is a favorite of campers escaping the Willamette Valley heat.

Bedrock Campground has 22 first-come-first-served campsites.   Although generally open from late April through mid-September, weather can impact opening and closing dates.  The 2003 Clark fire burned most of the understory in the area.  The campground was restored in 2005.  There is no drinking water but vault toilets are provided.  Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring.

Campers enjoy fishing from the nearby Bedrock Day Use area which is also a trailhead for the Fall Creek National Trail.
