Baker Campground is located in a mixed conifer forest on the banks of the Middle Fork Stanislaus River in Kennedy Meadows.  Deadman Campground and Kennedy Meadow Trailhead are nearby.  Baker is generally open from late April through mid-October.  Campers enjoy fishing, hiking, wildlife and enjoying the peace and quiet.  The Sonora Pass Highway provides eye candy for your drive.

All 44 campsites are first-come-first-served.  No reservations are taken for Baker.  Campsites have a picnic table and campfire ring.  Vault toilet restrooms, garbage containers and piped drinking water is provided in the campground.  There is no RV dump station.
