Kit Price, Coeur d'Alene River, Idaho

Kit Price Campground

Idaho Panhandle National Forest / Coeur d'Alene River Ranger District

Kit Price is about 32.5 miles north of Interstate 90, on the North Fork ofthe Coeur d’Alene River Road. The campground has 53 sites including the Camp Hosts and Area Managers. The sites are divided into 3loops, A, B, and C. Each loop has at least one river access path for all to use.  Many sites on the river have their own path to the river.  The roads inside the camp are all paved, as well as the site pads.  The roads are almost 1.5 miles long.

Elk and moose wander through the campground when it is quiet.  Keep your distance.  They are wild and unpredictable and they can out-run you.

Families love to bring their kids here for safe biking, skate boarding, walking the loops, fishing and tubing the river.  The campground is full of 2nd and 3rd generations enjoying camping, playing in the river and enjoying the wildlife.

A dump station, Shoshone, is located just 3 miles south of the campground.  There is a fee for dumping.  Get current rates, directions and reservations here:  Recreation.gov \ Kit Price
