North Battle Creek Campground is on a small reservoir of the same name just north of Viola, CA. We are open for first-come-first-served camping, usually in late-April, as weather permits. Reservation sites are available from mid-May through early September.
Campers enjoy kayaking and canoeing from the car-top boat launch on-site. The road is rough and high clearance vehicles are recommended. The campground provides drinking water, bear safe trash cans and vault toilet restrooms. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring. North Battle Creek has a total of 15 campsites; 10 will accommodate a tent or RV without hookups. 5 walk-in sites are for tent-camping.
