Last Chance is a beautiful little secluded campground just outside of Chester, CA, on Last Chance Creek.  Half of the 24 campsites may be reserved for groups, others are for first-come-first-served campers.  The campground generally opens the first week in May and closes after the first week in October.  Get there on a 4-mile, well-maintained, gravel road
