Idaho Panhandle National Forest \ Coeur d'Alene Ranger District
24 campsites are nestled in a tranquil forest, on Bumblebee Creek, about a half-mile from the Little North Fork Coeur d'Alene River. The north loop of Bumblebee Campground is a group site that can accommodate up to 100 people. The campground is generally open from mid-May through Labor Day. Unhealthy trees in 2014 caused a campground closure for public safety. Check here for current status and reservations: Recreation.gov \ Bumblebee
Campers enjoy swimming, tubing and fishing for trout nearby. Bumblebee is about 9 miles north of Kingston, Idaho, on I-90. Vault toilets, garbage dumpsters, picnic tables, fire rings and hand-pumped drinking water are provided.
