Slide Creek Campground, on the banks of Cougar Reservoir, is just 4 miles from Blue River, Oregon.  14 single and 2 double campsites are shaded by this lush Oregon forest.  The campground is generally open from late April through mid-September.  Half the campsites may be reserved up to 6 months in advance of your arrival.  Follow the link to check rates and availability and current alerts in effect:  Recreation.gov \ Slide Creek

Terwilliger Hot Springs is close by with 4 soaking pools.  Campers enjoy fishing, swimming and boating in the reservoir and hiking the vast network of trails in the Olallie Trail area.
