100's of cyclists will be peddling their way from south to north from Aug 1 - 7, 2016.  Stage 3, on Aug 3rd, brings them into our neck of the woods after a 3000 foot climb up Mt Nebo and a fast, technical descent into Payson, Utah.

Visit your beautiful National Forest campgrounds along the Nebo Loop, Pineview Reservoir, Bountiful, and Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.

Stage 5, on Aug 5th, begins on Antelope Island, heads over the North Ogden Pass and south along the east side of Pineview Reservoir.  They then peddle their way over Trapper's Loop to end the stage in Bountiful.

Trapper's Loop is repeated the next day in Stage 6 of the TOU.  Riders will then conquer Guardsman Pass, from the Park City side, by climbing approximately 2500' in just 10 miles.  This stage includes a 4500' technical descent from Guardsman Pass, down Big Cottonwood Canyon to the Salt Lake foothills.  To end the stage cyclists will push themselves up Little Cottonwood Canyon to regain 3000' elevation.

Campers can check out the TOU website for temporary road closures along the race routes.  Click/tap on the stage in your campground's area to see Traffic Advisories.
